Posted: 10.12.2016Open your resume... set your timer to 15 seconds... read as much of your resume as you can starting from the top in 15 seconds... timer is done! Did you appeal to yourself? Is your resume clear as to what it is you bring to the table for a potential employer? Would you contact yourself for an interview?
Often times we see resumes that within the first 15 seconds say the same things over and over... "I have strong interpersonal skills", "I am looking for a job in customer service"... sound appealing?
Be descriptive, use quantitative information, sell yourself within the first 15 seconds or your resume could be tossed with the other 98% of resumes that look the exact same!
