Interviews can be one of the most intimidating aspects of searching for a job. Unfortunately, it's a fact that having top-notch credentials alone are not going to land you a job. Having great credentials and excellent interviewing skills, however, will ensure that you stand out amongst other applicants.

It can happen to anyone. For one reason or another – a late arrival, botching answers to key questions, failing to establish a rapport with the interviewer – you had a bad job interview. Although the proverb is true, you never get a second chance to make a first impression, you do have an opportunity to make up some of what you lost in your bad job interview.

When an employee leaves an organization voluntarily, they are typically given an exit interview. It is usually a series of questions that asks the employee how their jobs could have been better and what could have been done to make them stay. These questions are either given in a survey form, asked in an interview by either a Human Resources representative or an outside consultant. The information is taken back and analyzed.
